Single pot still whiskeys that had matured for between 15 and 22 years in ex bourbon casks were selected for this release and married together before being filled into the Irish oak hogsheads. Sustainable oak was used for Dair Ghaelach, with trees felled in Grinsell's Wood within Ballaghtobin Estate back in 2010 being transported to north west Spain
