these have been around since Legends, debuting with Infinite Authority
End Step Demonic Tutor | Illustration by Nene Thomas Time to wrap up our Fourth Edition review, a core set so old that cards had no rarity indicators back then (and the web was barely a thing, either makes you wonder how MTG players survived such barbaric dark ages!)
The next installment of this series wont come for several weeks, as well be directing our attention to Kaldheim for the next couple of articles
What to look for: Correct set symbol for the release Proper rarity symbol (C,U,R,RR,) Clean, sharp symbol edges Correct symbol placement Red flags: Wrong set symbol for the card Blurry Symbols in wrong positions or pixelated symbols Missing rarity marks Pro tip: Cross-reference set symbols with official Chinese set lists or trusted collector databases
Theres definitely value for collectors here but it could also be a great card for competitive players
