This effect also forces the opponent into a position whereby any form of removal will trigger it, thus playing into the archetype's strategy of manipulating the opponent's removal options

This makes it the best starter deck to pick up before the GX structure decks started changing the game completely

The crazy thing about this ability is that it technically isnt inflicting damage to your opponent, its simply halving their LP this means they cant activate any cards like Gorz the Emissary of Darkness back at you, or any sort of effects that regain burn damage
