Updated June 5, 2023, by Sean Murray: It's been a while since the release of Tales of Middle-earth, and in that time we've seen the value of many of these Lord of the Rings cards change wildly thanks to the constant fluctuations of Magic's secondary market
Out: Hypnotic Sprite // Mesmeric Glare / In: Giant Killer Something Ive noticed about the deck overall is that our creatures arent very big or do much flying, so instead of the countermagic we have a meager dose of in the deck I opted for more removal since we dont depend on a combo to win and need to protect our face
This card can be cast many times from the command zone, it stops counterspells, and stops damage prevention
Thankfully, the lowest common denominator is easy to reach since Scar himself already boosts the strength of other Allies
So youd want to use it on a powerful non-legendary creature or some kind of enchantment (like Warriors Resolve or Campsite Cuisine, for instance)
