Aura Sphere takes three fighting energies to use and does 100 damage to the opposing Pokemon, but the real draw is that it also does 30 damage to a Pokemon on your opponents bench
+1/+1 counter strategies are quite common in Commander, and its difficult to ask for a better 2-drop in those decks
