The more colors you add, the weaker the -7 ability gets, but the other modes offer plenty of value

Thalia and The Gitrog Monster offers a ton of disruptive value, plus card draw and a human horror frog commander that basically cant be interacted with in combat thanks to deathtouch and first strike
It excels in Commander, which encourages you to play creatures large enough that this is mana neutral because somebody at Wizards thought that would be an okay ceiling and games go long enough to really milk the card advantage
