From 2004-2007 I photographed behind the scenes on various xxx-adult movie sets in and around Los Angeles

There is a peculiar attraction we have as humans to reengage later in life with the things that troubled us most

ただ、その折の沖縄行きは、とくに撮影が目当てだったわけではなくて、東松照明、細江英公、深瀬昌久、荒木経惟、そしてぼく、という当時在京の5名の写真家が、沖縄在住の写真家や写真愛好家の方々10数名を対象に、写真撮影をメインテーマにした、フォト・ワークショップを開催して、ぼくの初の沖縄行きは、その交流会への参加が目的だったわけです。
